To rent a luxury vehicle, you'll need a valid driver's license held for at least 1 year, a passport or national ID, and a credit card in the main driver's name for the security deposit. International drivers should also bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their national license. All documents must be original and valid throughout the rental period.

What is the minimum age to rent a luxury or supercar?

The minimum age is 25 years for all vehicles. Additionally, you must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year without major violations or suspensions.

Is insurance included in the rental price?

Accepted Answer

Yes, full insurance with a deductible (also called excess) is included in all our rentals. The deductible amount varies by vehicle. In case of damage or theft, you are only liable up to the deductible amount, not the full cost of damages. The deductible is your maximum financial responsibility. All cars have the same full insurance coverage with deductible. All insurance details including your specific deductible amount are clearly outlined in your rental agreement.

Can I modify or cancel my booking?

Bookings can be modified up to 24 hours before pickup at no charge, subject to vehicle availability. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50% charge, and cancellations within 24 hours forfeit the full rental amount. Can I take the rental car across borders in Europe?

Cross-border travel is allowed with prior authorization. Any country or route requires approval from our team. There are no extra fees for approved cross-border travel. Always inform us of your intended travel route when booking so we can provide necessary authorization and ensure full insurance coverage.

How does the security deposit work?

A security deposit is required for all rentals and varies by vehicle. The deposit is pre-authorized on your credit card at pickup. The deposit may be used to cover fuel differences, exceeded mileage charges, traffic fines, toll charges, and can contribute towards the deductible if damage occurs. Your deposit is refunded within 14 days after vehicle return, minus any applicable deductions. Ocars processes payments and holds deposits directly for our customers, acting in your interest when dealing with car rentals. This provides additional security, protecting you from risks associated with rental companies that may misuse deposits. We accept only credit cards (not debit cards) for security deposits.

Do you offer delivery and collection services?

Yes, we offer complimentary delivery and collection at major airports and city centers across our operating locations. For deliveries outside these areas, a distance-based fee applies (typically €2-5 per kilometer). Premium concierge delivery to hotels, private residences, or specific addresses is available. We can also arrange meet-and-greet services at airports for a seamless experience.

What is your fuel policy?

All vehicles are provided with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank (Full-to-Full policy). If returned without refueling, we charge the missing fuel at market rate plus a €50 refueling service fee. You are responsible for fueling the car with the correct fuel type. For petrol cars, ensure at least 98 octane fuel is used. Misfueling costs are charged according to insurance policy—up to the deductible (excess) amount.

Are there mileage limits on luxury car rentals?

Most rentals include 150-200 kilometers per day (varies by vehicle). Each vehicle page clearly states the included km per day. Additional mileage can be purchased at booking or during the rental. The cost per extra kilometer varies by vehicle and is shown on each vehicle page. There are no unlimited mileage options. All mileage terms are clearly stated in your rental agreement.

What happens if the car breaks down or has an issue?

All vehicles are meticulously maintained and inspected before each rental. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, our 24/7 roadside assistance is included at no extra cost. We provide immediate support, towing if needed, and a replacement vehicle of similar category when possible. Emergency contact numbers are provided with the vehicle and our support team is available around the clock.
